What’s New
New User Testing Mode
Teams can now run full CLEAR1 verification flows as new members without deleting existing data. This update simplifies testing and QA, making it easier to validate new configurations, integrations, and user experiences.

MyChart Integration in Epic Toolbox
CLEAR’s MyChart integration is now live in Epic Toolbox, enabling patients to instantly verify their identity. This out-of-the-box integration helps healthcare systems streamline MyChart account creation and account recovery—reducing fraud while delivering a smoother patient experience.
Metadata for Trusted Source Checks
Detailed explanations for failed trusted source checks are now available in the Console, such as “Full name confirmed, but address could not be verified.” Console users can hover over a failed check to understand why it failed, helping teams diagnose issues more quickly and interpret verification outcomes with greater clarity. This is now live for all partners using Self-Attested checks or the User information matches trusted source check.
Metadata for Duplicate Document Errors
Errors related to duplicate identity documents now surface directly in the Console. When a user attempts to upload a government-issued ID that is already associated with another account, clear error details are displayed to help teams identify duplicate document usage.
Metadata for Business, Non-Personal, and Shared Phone Lines
Verification results now surface expanded metadata when a phone number cannot be uniquely verified to an individual. Metadata will indicate when a number is a business or non-personal line, part of a shared or secondary account, or only matchable using unverified source data.
Enhanced Verification Search
The Verification Table in the Console now includes enhanced search capabilities that improve speed and introduce rich, structured filtering directly within the search bar. Users can easily build queries and apply filters as they type, making it faster than ever to locate specific verifications.
Custom OIDC Claims
Partners using CLEAR1’s Standard OIDC integration can now request custom claims directly in their ID token—including both top-level and verified-claims fields—to provide more flexibility and reduce reliance on follow-up API calls. With this enhancement, partners can receive real-time verification outcomes (e.g., status, timestamps, and other required fields) directly within the authentication flow.
