We expanded support to India with a new Aadhaar Database Verification Check that confirms Aadhaar numbers directly against India’s government identity database (CIDR). This real-time source check includes OTP-based user authorization and biographic matching, enabling trustworthy verification of Indian individuals, whether they’re based in India or anywhere else.
VoIP Number Blocking Enhancement
CLEAR1 now supports a dedicated check to block VoIP numbers, in addition to the standard phone identity screening. This update simplifies the verification flow by removing the need for users to manually enter their full name, while enhancing fraud prevention for partners seeking to block VoIP-based activity.
