This enhancement helps protect the verification experience against AI-driven spoofing attempts.

CLEAR1 and Epic have expanded person-based verification for clinicians to support Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances (EPCS). Embedded directly into Epic, CLEAR1 helps health systems confirm the identity of the prescriber behind each medication order without slowing clinicians down, whether they’re in the office or on the go. Health systems can get CLEAR1 for EPCS directly through Epic Showroom.
