February Product Updates

What’s New

Passport NFC Validation

CLEAR1 now supports direct validation of ePassport NFC chip data from the CLEAR App and CLEAR+. Once a user’s ePassport is uploaded and validated in the app or at the airport, it becomes a trusted credential that can be reused across all future CLEAR1 verifications. This provides a stronger verification path for IAL2-certified use cases or for users who cannot complete the CLEAR1 flow with other forms of IDs.

Analytics Improvements

The CLEAR1 Console analytics dashboard now gives even deeper visibility into verification activity. Updates include an all-time filtered view, new member- and session-level metrics, improved data labels, refreshed charts and signals, making it easier to analyze trends, measure performance, and extract meaningful insights.

Verification Search Improvements in CLEAR1 Console

Verification search in the CLEAR1 Console has been upgraded with more powerful filtering and a redesigned experience. Console users can now search by name, phone number, email, and custom partner fields, and will soon be able to filter by date or time range, including quick views for day, week, month, or the past three months. A new combined search-and-filter dropdown supports real-time suggestions, additive search terms, and full keyboard navigation.

New Verification Search API

CLEAR1 released a new and enhanced Verification Session Search API, enabling faster and more flexible querying of verification activity directly within your systems. With advanced filtering options and up to 6x faster performance, this endpoint makes it easier to build operational dashboards, automate workflows, and power analytics tooling.

Supported query parameters include:

  • projectId - Filter by one or more project IDs
  • flowId - Filter by one or more session IDs
  • flowToken - Filter by one or more session tokens
  • userId - Filter by one or more user IDs
  • status - Filter by verification status (e.g., success, fail, processing, requires_input)
  • email - Return sessions matching one or more email addresses.
  • phone - Return sessions matching one or more phone numbers (partial match)
  • name - Filter by names (partial match)
  • startTime - Return sessions updated after a given timestamp
  • endTime - Return sessions updated before a given timestamp
