Enhanced Metadata for Verification Failures
We’ve expanded the metadata displayed in the Console to make verification outcomes clearer and easier to troubleshoot.
- Phone Checks: You’ll now see specific reasons when a phone identity match fails, such as name mismatches or VoIP numbers.
- Device Checks: When risk is detected, added context like location discrepancies or mismatched time zone/language helps explain why.
- Authentication: When authentication fails, you'll now see the specific reasons, such as exceeding selfie or OTP attempt limits, or other validation errors.
These enhancements give you deeper insight into why a user failed a verification and help you resolve issues more efficiently.

SSN Checks within Government-ID Verification*
Partners who require Social Security Number (SSN) validation can now perform these checks directly within the GovID step. By reusing data from the scanned ID, the process eliminates redundant inputs, reduces friction for users, and streamlines verification.
Integration with Nirvana
CLEAR and Nirvana are partnering to transform patient intake by retrieving active patient health insurance information through Nirvana's partner network. This integration will enhance both security and efficiency, ensuring patients are who they claim to be and that their insurance details are correct before services are provided.
